Shoulderstand (L-Base, hands on ankles)

Base Position: Base lying on the back
Flyer Position: Flyer on shoulders
Contact Point: Flyer on hands of base

Description

Base 

  • Place your hands on the shoulders and shoulder blades of the flyer.
  • Keep your arms straight.
  • Let your shoulders sink into the floor.

Flyer 

  • Lean againt the fingers of the base.
  • Straighten your arms and stay tight.
  • Hold the ankles of the base to support the balance but don't balance activly with your budy

Spotter 

  • Spot at the back of the flyer.
  • Stabilize the hips of the flyer to help them find the balance.
