Description
Base
- Place your feet as close as possible to the hips of the flyer with the toes slightly outward rotated. (this makes it easier for the flyer).
- Bend your knees until you feel the flyers weight and receive the flyer with you hands supporting on the shoulder.
- Hold your legs in a 90° angle to your upper body (ankles are exactly above your hips).
Flyer
- Begin straight and lean with your hip against the bases feet.
- Pike your hips to about a 90° angle (bring your toes towards your ears).
- Relax your upper body (let it hang down).
Spotter
- Stand behind the legs of the base.
- Spot the hips of the flyer (both hands under the legs, so you can catch the flyer if the base collapses).
